- 1 cup paneer (cubed)
- 1 cup green peas
- 2 medium-sized onions (finely chopped)
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chillies (slit lengthwise)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start spluttering, add onions and fry till they turn translucent.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and slit green chillies. Fry for a minute till the raw smell goes away.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook till they become soft and mushy.
- Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes till the spices are cooked.
- Add cubed paneer and green peas. Mix well and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Add fresh cream and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for another minute.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with rice or Indian breads like naan, roti or paratha.
